  • It's so simple to update your patients' smart charts. Clicking on a tooth selects the tooth, then simply click on the icon for the procedure done to the tooth. Doing so brings the image of the tooth up in size so that you can record in detail where on the tooth each procedure was done. Tool tips pop down under the cursor to tell you what each button represents.
  • Checking and unchecking the boxes under the Display options allows you to see the work that has been done or proposed. Display options include viewing the work that existed when the patient came to you, viewing only work that has been done in your office, and viewing proposed work that has been accepted or rejected by the patient.
  • You can even view the smart chart according to the date you select, so you can review charts from months, even years before!
  • When you exit the patient's smart chart, every change you made is automatically written to the clinical notes.
  • There is only one fillings (surface restorations) button since we do all the coding. You don't need all those different selections that other programs require for the various restorative materials on primary and permanent teeth, etc.
  • You can change the status, price or even the structure and material of any restoration without deleting your original restoration and starting over.
